KILLSWITCH ENGAGE To Film Video For Cover Of DIO's 'Holy Diver'
June 13, 2007KILLSWITCH ENGAGE has tapped Brian Thompson to direct its video for the cover of the DIO classic "Holy Diver". The shoot will take place in the Calistoga, California area the weekend of June 16-17.
Commented Thompson: "We need a good crowd of medieval period people from the era of the knights in shining armour (please forgive my lack of specific knowledge of what era in time this is; I know that you all are well versed in the history). This is going to be a fun music video and will be played on MTV, Fuse, and also included on the band's special-edition DVD. We need both women and men of all ages. We will be shooting sometime around June 16 or 17 in the Calistoga area. Also if anyone has a horse with the appropriate dress for a horse in that era would be magnificent."

KILLSWITCH ENGAGE's cover of DIO's "Holy Diver" was one of several exclusive tracks that were made available on a special CD accompanying Kerrang!'s 25th anniversary issue (street date: May 31, 2006). Entitled "High Voltage", the 15-track disc was made up of classic rock and metal songs covered by contemporary bands, with 10 of the tracks recorded exclusively for the CD.
